Activities & Updated Information

Dear Family,
In this world that we live in, we often forget how important tradition is in keeping us connected on deep, meaningful, and unbreakable levels.
For generations the African American family and community has flourished because of a keen sense of unity and because of an improved quality of life handed down by tradition – from generation to generation and family to family. If you don’t know where you come from, how do you know where you’ve been?
Statistics says that the black family is becoming extinct. Is that true? Will our family become a statistic like other families have? THE FUTURE OF OUR FAMILY IS IN OUR HANDS.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WE REMEMBER WHO WE ARE, WHERE WE COME FROM AND WHY WE NEED EACH OTHER!!!! TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.
A family is a living thing much like a garden. Effort must be made to understand it; care must be given in tending it. Then it grows lush and provides nourishment for both the body and soul.

Food

I have added some websites regarding the food options around the hotel. The first link is probably the best one to use. You can select the area which is closest to the Hotel, and in our case the area is "Downtown City." The best thing to do is check out the food sites, and open up another browser for mapquest to get directions to certain restaurants. I know it sounds like a lot, but it is very easy to do. Any questions, hit me up on the blog.
